A few months ago My Girls on Food Cohort, Dawn Fisher and I had the pleasure of attending a media dinner put on by Chamberlains and it was by far one of the coolest tastings I’ve attended so far. Chef Chamberlain and his staff of expertly trained Chefs greeted and chatted with us. They had various cooking stations set up at the front of the room. Chef Chamberlain walked us through every course and prepared each dish right there in front of us.
*Indulge me for a moment…
You know when you’re at home watching Master Chef in your sweatpants and the food on TV looks so amazing, and you’ve watched the Chefs agonize over every detail of the meal for the last 53 minutes, and your so- freaking- hungry and then the meal is judged right there in front of you, and you eat your ham and gouda with Grey Poupon on Mrs. Baird’s white bread sandwich and cry?
The point that I make… this night at Chamberlains was the exact opposite of that.
It was every bit like attending a Celebrity cooking show… but then I got to eat all the food. And no tears were shed. (Ok a few tears of joy, but they don’t count.)
Now Chamberlains has been catering in DFW for over 23 years so these guys know what they’re doing. Typically they cater huge weddings, corporate events, things like that. But this new venture can serve anywhere from 2 to 200 all right in the comfort of your own home.

All you have to do is call up their catering department and they can do as much or as little as you like. You decide the budget, the menu, the drinks, the décor, and the rentals (if you need any) and you’re all set.
You can do this in your home or your rich Aunt’s home. Or a park. Or your office. Or a hotel suite. Your options are limitless. Whatever you decide, either Chef Chamberlain himself or one of his most trusted Chefs, wait, and bar staff will create a beautiful event where you can sit back with your friends and learn the tricks of the trade from one of the Masters. THEN #EatAllTheFoo
